Dieter Specht is the founder and co-founder of avancon SA, where he serves as Chairman of the Board and is the largest shareholder.
As CEO of the Interroll Group, founded in 1959, Dieter Specht laid the foundation for Interroll’s success by inventing the first practical polymer conveyor roller and securing 28 patents. He prioritized product design above all else, ensuring that no new product was launched without his personal review and redesign. Under his leadership, Interroll grew from a startup founded by two entrepreneurs into a company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange in 1997.
